Usually around the holidays I get depressed because we are never around any family. However this year just might be a little different for a few reasons.
This is going to be our daughters very first everything. So I try living each day through her eyes. It is so much fun.
Even though it rains like everyday here in Germany, it can be such a magical place.
As my close friends and family know, I am a Christmas freak. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas. Its not just about the gifts for me.
Everything about it makes me warm and fuzzy inside. The music, the food, everybody so happy. But don't get me wrong, I love getting presents hehe.
Now that I have Lylah I can be silly every chance I get. And it is okay. They have all sorts of Festivals here in Germany around the holidays. And starting Sept 20th Ocktober fest starts. Not that I'll be doing much drinking. But I love getting out and sightseeing. And enjoy the German culture. I know it is only Sept, but I am already getting the holiday butterflies. I can't wait to start dressing my house in holiday warmth. Heck I am already singing x-mas songs to Lylah. Haha she really likes them. Like mother like daughter right? It drives Justin crazy, but thats what wifes are good for right?
